Why a Shower Light Is Never an Optional Detail

Most people don't think about shower lighting until they're standing in a dim, shadowy stall wondering why it feels so uninviting. It's one of those details that gets overlooked during a remodel - but it's one we always push for. Proper overhead lighting inside the shower changes everything about how the space feels.

What we're working with here is a stunning wood-look tile running floor to ceiling. The grain, the texture, the warm tones - it's rich. But all of that would get swallowed up without the right light source placed directly overhead. The recessed fixture sits flush and clean, purpose-built for wet environments, and it pulls the whole enclosure together.

The little things in a bathroom remodel matter more than people expect. Grout lines, trim pieces, fixture placement - these aren't afterthoughts for us. They're decisions we make deliberately because they're what separates a bathroom that just functions from one that actually feels finished.
